Regulatory traffic Signs are placed in order to inform the ones utilising roads regarding the road Safety Special Obligations.

They are three – Dimensional (according to their special role):

Ρ-1: Side 0,60 – 0,90 – 1,20 m.

Ρ-2: Diameter 0,60 – 0,90 – 1,20 m.

Ρ-3 and Ρ-4: Side 0,40 – 0,60 – 0,80 m.

Ρ-5: Diameter 0,45 – 0,65 – 0,90 m.

Ρ-6: Side 0,45 – 0,65 – 0,90 m.

Ρ-7 to Ρ-75 Round: Diameter 0,45 – 0,65 – 0,90 m.

Reflectivity Demands of Regulatory Traffic Signs according to the Road System to which they apply [FreeWay (FR), National Road (NR), or Trunk Road (TR),], the place of the Sign, and the type of retroreflective membranes (Ι, ΙΙ, ΙΙΙ) are as follows:

Α. Sign Bridge: FR and NR: Membrane type ΙΙΙ[

Β. Right Position : FR -Membrane ΙΙ or ΙΙΙ, NR – Membrane I or ΙΙ, TR – Membrane Ι or ΙΙ

C. Left Position : FR – Membrane ΙΙ η ΙΙΙ, NR – Membrane ΙΙ, TR – Membrane I or ΙΙ

Signs Ρ-1, Ρ-2, Ρ-5, Ρ-30, Ρ-31, Ρ-52, Ρ-52l, and Ρ-52r, due to their crucial importance in terms of improving the road safety, have necessarily to be constructed with membrane of at least type ΙΙ.
